Fellow Pilots, Welcome to your annual general meeting. Unfortunately, it is very impersonal by its electronic nature. But this is forced down upon us by the size of our country. It is our only way to make sure that you have your say on a short list items and issues where your approval is crucial. On other items it is your awareness that is crucial. As always the financial statements are on top of this short list, and rightly so since it is your money. Secondly, we are asking for your approval or the choice of Jorgenson and Bickerton of Amherst, N.S. as our auditors of this year’s financial statements. We also invite you take a look at this coming year’s budget. Certain items like a major overhaul of the website will be reflected by a substantial budgetary increase. Then you can glance at a summary of our last annual director’s meeting which took place last April in Saskatoon. Lastly, we included a quick link to our new insurance policy. Your awareness of this new policy is important since it brings a few substantive changes. To help us to get a little more familiar with these changes, Gregg Humphries, our Insurance Chair wrote a brief report which should shed some light.
